Transfer of ownership, notice required.
236.460. The owner shall notify the chief engineer upon thesale or other transfer of interest in a dam or reservoir, eitherexisting or under construction, alteration or removal. Theconstruction, safety or registration permit shall be transferredto the successive owner upon receipt of this notification andupon determination that such transfer will not endanger publicsafety, life, property, the dam or reservoir.
