Director, appointment, compensation.
251.050. The chief executive officer of the department shallbe a director who shall be appointed by the governor by and withthe advice and consent of the senate and who shall serve at thepleasure of the governor. The director shall receivecompensation not to exceed twenty-one thousand, five hundreddollars per year.
