Agroforestry program developed--who may develop plan.
252.303. The department may develop and implement, in cooperationwith the University of Missouri college of agriculture, the University ofMissouri center for agroforestry, the University of Missouri extensionservice, the Missouri department of natural resources, private industrycouncils and the Missouri department of agriculture, an agroforestryprogram. The program shall be designed to encourage the development of astate program of agroforestry, and shall encourage soil conservation anddiversifications of the state's agricultural base through the use of treesplanted in an agroforestry configuration to accommodate alley cropping,forested-riparian buffers, silvopasture and windbreaks.
