Recycling and reuse, compliance with federal, state and local lawrequired--rulemaking authority.
260.1089. 1. All equipment collected under sections 260.1050 to260.1101 shall be recycled or reused in a manner that complies withfederal, state, and local law.
2. The department shall, by rule, adopt as mandatory standards forrecycling or reuse of equipment in this state the standards provided byElectronics Recycling Operating Practices as approved by the board ofdirectors of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc., April 25,2006, or other standards issued from the U.S. Environmental ProtectionAgency, if available.
