Director to enforce--powers.
265.140. The director shall be charged with the enforcementof the provisions of this chapter and for that purpose shall havethe power:
(1) To enter and inspect personally, or through anyauthorized representative, any place within the state of Missouriwhere apples are sold, offered or exposed for sale, and toinspect such places and all apples and apple containers found inany such place;
(2) To inspect personally, or through any authorizedrepresentative, any records required of Missouri apple growers inconnection with the enforcement of this chapter;
(3) To stop any wagon, truck, or other vehicle upon anypublic street or road or upon any highway of the state for thepurpose of inspecting any apples that may be so transported;
(4) To make, publish and enforce such uniform rules andregulations as are necessary for carrying out the provisions ofthis chapter.
