Quality standards for agricultural liming materials.
266.525. All agricultural liming materials offered for salemust be capable of correcting soil acidity, and furnishingcalcium or magnesium, as plant nutrients, and meet the minimumspecifications for calcium carbonate equivalent, and fineness ofgrind, as set forth in the regulations. All agricultural limingmaterials offered or exposed for sale in Missouri shall guaranteethe pounds of effective magnesium per ton and the pounds ofeffective neutralizing material per ton. Effective magnesium andeffective neutralizing material shall be calculated by themethods set forth in the regulations according to the percentageof magnesium, the calcium carbonate equivalent and fineness asdetermined in section 266.535.
