Standards and regulations for licensed persons andfacilities--director to promulgate rules.
273.344. 1. Persons and facilities subject to USDAlicensure shall comply with the standards and regulations asprescribed by the USDA, as revised from time to time.
2. Persons and facilities who are subject to sections273.325 to 273.357, but who are not subject to USDA licensure,shall comply with rules promulgated by the director whichestablish standards relating to the following:
(1) Adequate shelter, including proper conditions ofsanitation and ventilation;
(2) Adequate food and water; and
(3) Maintenance of records of acquisition and dispositionof animals in the custody of the licensee.
