277.141. If a contract for the sale of livestock does notcontain a written statement as to a warranty of merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purpose, the seller is not liable fordamages resulting from the lack of merchantability or fitness fora particular purpose of the livestock sold under the terms ofthat contract.
