Records of division--reproduction, destruction, copies.

288.360. 1. The division may cause to be made suchsummaries, compilations, photographs, duplications orreproductions of any records, documents, instruments,proceedings, reports or transcripts thereof as it may deemadvisable for the effective and economical preservation of theinformation contained therein, and such summaries, compilations,photographs, duplications or reproductions, duly authenticated orcertified by the director or by an employee to whom such duty isdelegated shall be admissible in any proceeding under this law orin any judicial proceeding, to the extent that the originalrecord, document, instrument, proceeding, report or transcriptthereof would have been admissible therein.

2. The division may provide by regulation for thedestruction or disposition, after reasonable periods, of anyrecords, documents, instruments, proceedings, reports ortranscripts thereof or reproductions thereof or other papers inits custody, the preservation of which is no longer necessary forthe establishment of the contribution liability or the benefitrights of any employing unit or individual or for any otherpurposes necessary for the proper administration of this law,whether or not such records, documents, instruments, proceedings,reports or transcripts thereof or other papers in its custodyhave been summarized, compiled, photographed, duplicated,reproduced or audited.

3. The division may prescribe by regulation the charges tobe made for certified and uncertified copies of records, reports,decisions, transcripts or other papers or documents. All sumsreceived in payment of such charges shall be promptly transmittedto and deposited in the unemployment compensation administrationfund.
