Washrooms, dressing rooms, first aid equipment.

293.100. 1. The operator of every mine employingtwenty-five or more men underground, for the purpose of improvingthe sanitation of his mine and preserving the health of hisemployees, shall provide and maintain at a convenient point nearthe principal entrance of his mine an adequate and sanitarywashroom and dressing room for the use of the employees, and suchother sanitation facilities as may be required by the director.

2. Every mine shall have an adequate supply of first aidequipment to be used in case of injury to employees, and suchsupplies shall be located on the surface and at other strategicplaces within the mine. The first aid supplies shall be encasedin suitable sanitary receptacles designed to be reasonablydusttight and moistureproof.
