300.065. 1. The chief of police by and with the approval ofthe city traffic engineer is hereby empowered to make regulationsnecessary to make effective the provisions of the trafficordinances of the city and to make and enforce temporary orexperimental regulations to cover emergencies or specialconditions. No such temporary or experimental regulation shallremain in effect for more than ninety days.
2. The city traffic engineer may test traffic controldevices under actual conditions of traffic.
