Authority to install traffic control devices.
300.130. The city traffic engineer shall place and maintaintraffic control signs, signals, and devices when and as requiredunder the traffic ordinances of the city to make effective theprovisions of said ordinances, and may place and maintain suchadditional traffic control devices as he may deem necessary toregulate traffic under the traffic ordinances of the city orunder state law or to guide or warn traffic.
