Implements of husbandry, movement on highway permitted,when--definition.

301.029. 1. Any self-propelled sprayer, floater, or other form ofimplement of husbandry that is used for spraying chemicals or spreadingfertilizer for agricultural purposes may be moved or operated on thehighways of this state without complying with the provisions of thischapter relating to titling, registration, and the display of licenseplates.

2. The exemption for titling, registration, and the display oflicense plates provided for in subsection 1 of this section shall applywhether the described vehicles are laden or unladen.

3. All other requirements of the law relating to motor vehicles,unless the context clearly provides otherwise, shall apply to the vehiclesdescribed in subsection 1 of this section when operated on the highways ofthis state.

4. As used in this section, the term "implement of husbandry" meansall self-propelled machinery manufactured for operation at low speeds,specifically designed for, or especially adapted to be capable of,incidental over-the-road and primary off-road usage and used exclusivelyfor the application of commercial plant food materials or agriculturalchemicals.
