Alteration or removal of traffic-control devices prohibited.
304.331. No person shall, without lawful authority, attemptto or in fact alter, deface, injure, knock down or remove anyofficial traffic-control device or any railroad sign or signal orany inscription, shield or insignia thereon, or any other partthereof.
