Watercraft livery--records--equipment to be furnished.

306.150. 1. The owner or operator of a watercraft livery shall causea record to be kept of the name and address of the person or persons hiringany watercraft which is designed or permitted by the owner to be operatedas a watercraft, the identification number of vessels hired, the departuredate and time, and the expected time of return. The record shall bepreserved for at least six months and shall be available for inspectionupon request by any law enforcement officer of this state.

2. Neither the owner of a watercraft livery, nor the owner's agent oremployee shall permit any watercraft to depart from the owner's premisesunless the watercraft has been equipped, either by the owner or therenter, with the equipment required pursuant to section 306.100 or anyrules or regulations made pursuant to such section.
