Provisions of 306.400 to 306.430 exclusive--exceptions.
306.425. 1. Sections 306.400 to 306.430 shall not apply toor affect:
(1) A lien given by statute or rule of law to a supplier ofservices or materials for the outboard motor, motorboat, vessel,or watercraft;
(2) A lien given by statute to the United States, this stateor any political subdivision of this state;
(3) A lien or encumbrance on an outboard motor, motorboat,vessel, or watercraft created by a manufacturer or dealer whoholds the outboard motor, motorboat, vessel, or watercraft forsale.
2. The method provided in sections 306.400 to 306.430 ofperfecting and giving notice of liens or encumbrances subject tosections 306.400 to 306.430 is exclusive.
