Property may be sold for nonpayment of taxes.

321.280. If the taxes levied are not paid as hereinprovided, then the delinquent real property shall be sold at theregular tax sale for the payment of said taxes, interest andpenalties, in the manner provided by the statutes of the state ofMissouri for selling property for the nonpayment of generaltaxes. If there are no bids at said tax sale for the property sooffered, said property shall be struck off to the county or otheragency provided by law, and the county or agency shall account tothe district in the same manner as provided by law for accountingfor school, town and city taxes. Delinquent personal propertyshall be distrained and sold as provided by general law.
