Violation of law a misdemeanor--penalty.

322.080. Any person, firm or corporation owning or having inhis or their charge, any dog or dogs which have had anysubstantial exposure to rabies, shall upon failure to kill suchdog or dogs, or to keep such dog or dogs impounded, or to havesuch dog or dogs immunized, be guilty of a misdemeanor; and, uponconviction thereof, shall be fined not less than one hundreddollars nor more than five hundred dollars, and such owner orperson in charge of such exposed dogs shall be liable for alldamages that may result from the actions of any such exposeddogs.
