Investigation of complaints by board.
326.274. Upon receipt of a complaint or other information suggestingviolations of this chapter or the rules of the board, the board may conductinvestigations to determine if probable cause exists to instituteproceedings pursuant to sections 326.295 to 326.316 against any person orfirm for the violation, but an investigation pursuant to this section shallnot be a prerequisite to initiate proceedings where a determination ofprobable cause can be made without investigation.
