Privileged communications, when.
337.540. Any communication made by any person to a licensedprofessional counselor in the course of professional servicesrendered by the licensed professional counselor shall be deemeda privileged communication and the licensed professionalcounselor shall not be examined or be made to testify to anyprivileged communication without the prior consent of the personwho received his professional services, except in violation ofthe criminal law.
