341.200. 1. Before a license shall be issued to any masterplumber, he shall be required to file with the supervisor of thedepartment of plumbing and sewer inspection a surety bond in theamount of two thousand dollars with one licensed corporatesurety; and before a license shall be issued to any masterdrainlayer, he shall be required to file with the supervisor asurety bond in the amount of two thousand dollars with onelicensed corporate surety. Said bond shall be subject to theapproval of the county counselor and shall be given for thefaithful observance of all orders and regulations adopted underthe provisions of sections 341.090 to 341.220 for the protectionof the public health and safety and shall indemnify the county orany person for any damage or injury sustained through thenegligence of such plumber or drainlayer in performing plumbingor drainlaying work and shall indemnify any person for any damageor injury sustained resulting from the failure to performplumbing and drainlaying work in a careful and workmanlikemanner, in conformity with the provisions of sections 341.090 to341.220 and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto and shall beconditioned that the principal in said bond will employ licensedjourneyman plumbers or licensed journeyman drainlayers in theperformance of plumbing and drainlaying work.

2. It shall be the duty of every licensed master plumber orjourneyman plumber or drainlayer to show on demand his license toengage in such work to any inspector of the department ofplumbing and sewer inspection. A person securing a drainlayer'slicense shall not be permitted to do plumbing work or to installany plumbing equipment or facilities within the interior of anybuilding and it shall be unlawful for any person to hold himselfout or to represent himself to be a licensed plumber or licenseddrainlayer without first having secured a license as provided bysections 341.090 to 341.220.
