Purchasers under eighteen--outside examination required.
346.025. Any licensed hearing instrument specialist, when dealingwith a person eighteen years of age or under, shall ensure that the personhas been examined by an otolaryngologist or a physician licensed topractice in Missouri, or a licensed audiologist, and has received a writtenrecommendation from such health care professional within ninety days priorto the fitting.
