Independent legal significance doctrine applicable to sections in thischapter.
351.017. Action taken in accordance with the different sections ofthis chapter are acts of independent legal significance even though the endresult may be the same under different sections. The mere fact that theresult of actions taken under one section may be the same as actions whichcould have been taken under another section does not require that thelegality of the result must be tested by the requirements of the secondsection.
