Administrative personnel--compensation.

351.685. 1. The secretary of state is hereby empowered toemploy a registration clerk, and such clerical help during themonths of June, July, August and September, of each year, as arenecessary to administer this law, and some suitable person, whois an attorney at law, as supervisor of corporation registration,who shall, under the direction of the secretary of state, aid inthe supervision of the registration of corporations.

2. The salary of the supervisor of corporation registrationand corporation attorneys and clerks shall be paid on warrantsdrawn upon the ordinary revenues of the state, and all travelingexpenses of the secretary of state, or the supervisor ofcorporation registration, shall be paid from the same source.

3. All attorneys employed pursuant to the provisions of thissection shall be duly licensed under the laws of this state.
