Who may make Federal Housing Act loans.

362.180. Banking institutions, trust companies, insurancecompanies, and loan and investment companies may

(1) Make loans and advances of credit and purchases ofobligations representing loans and advances of credit which areeligible for insurance pursuant to title I, section 2, of theNational Housing Act, and obtain such insurance;

(2) Make loans secured by real property or leaseholdinterests which the Federal Housing Administrator insures ormakes a commitment to insure pursuant to title II of the NationalHousing Act, and obtain such insurance.
