Agreement for merger becomes effective, when.

362.700. 1. If the agreement is so approved and ratified by thestockholders of each of the respective banks and trust companies, then incase the agreement provides for a merger, a copy of the minutes of therespective stockholders' meetings at which the agreement is approved, witha copy of the agreement and the director's approval thereof, all certifiedand verified by the respective secretaries of the meetings, shall be filedin the public records of the division of finance, and a like copy of theminutes, agreement and approval shall be filed with the cashier orsecretary of each of the banks and trust companies which are parties to theagreement.

2. Upon the filing for record of the copies as herein required to befiled, the agreement and merger shall become effective according to itsterms.
