374.060. 1. The director shall maintain his office inJefferson City and shall keep the same open from eight a.m. tofive p.m. every day except Saturdays, Sundays and publicholidays. He shall be furnished with suitable rooms in thecapitol or other state office building, which shall be furnishedwith a safe, furniture, stationery, printing and such otherthings as may be necessary for the transaction of the business ofhis office.
2. With the approval of the governor, the director maymaintain branch offices in this state as may be needed toeffectively discharge the duties of his office.
