Utilization review activities monitored.
376.1353. A health carrier shall be responsible for monitoring allutilization review activities carried out by, or on behalf of, the healthcarrier and for ensuring that all requirements of sections 376.1350 to376.1390 and applicable rules and regulations are met. The health carriershall also ensure that appropriate personnel have operationalresponsibility for the conduct of the health carrier's utilization reviewprogram.
