Special deposits for registered policies and annuity bonds.

376.170. All life insurance companies organized under the provisions ofsections 376.010 to 376.670 shall deposit with the director of the departmentof insurance, financial institutions and professional registration, inaddition to other amounts required by law to be deposited by life insurancecompanies before such companies are permitted to engage in the business ofissuing policies of life insurance and annuity bonds, cash or securities ofthe kind and type in which life insurance companies are required to investtheir funds under sections 376.291 to 376.307, as same now is or as same maybe hereafter amended, in an amount sufficient to equal the net value on allpolicies or annuity bonds hereafter issued by such companies, the amountthereof to be determined by an evaluation made in accord with the provisionsof sections 376.010 to 376.670.
