Director may proceed against depositary companies.

376.270. If at any time the affairs of any life insurancecompany which has deposited securities under section 376.170shall, in the opinion of the director, appear in such conditionas to render the issuing of additional policies and annuity bondsby such company injurious to the public interest, the directormay take the same proceedings against such company as by law maybe taken against other insolvent companies; and said companiesshall, in all respects, be subject to the provisions of lawaffecting other companies.
