Advertising, use of guaranty association prohibited.

376.755. No person, including an insurer, agent oraffiliate of an insurer shall make, publish, disseminate,circulate, or place before the public, or cause directly orindirectly, to be made, published, disseminated, circulated orplaced before the public, in any newspaper, magazine or otherpublication, or in the form of a notice, circular, pamphlet,letter or poster, or over any radio station or televisionstation, or in any other way, any advertisement, announcement orstatement, written or oral, which uses the existence of theinsurance guaranty association of this state for the purpose ofsales, solicitation, or inducement to purchase any form ofinsurance covered by sections 376.715 to 376.758. If a policyexceeds the limitations of coverage under sections 376.715 to376.758, the insurer shall prominently inscribe on an endorsementto the insurance contract the limitations of coverage provided bythe guaranty association. This section shall not apply to theMissouri Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association or anyother entity which does not sell or solicit insurance.
