Limits on applicability of law.

376.790. Nothing in sections 376.770 to 376.800 shall applyto or affect (1) any policy of workers' compensation insurance orany policy of liability insurance with or without supplementaryexpense coverage therein; or (2) any policy or contract ofreinsurance; or (3) any blanket or group policy of insurance; or(4) life insurance endowment or annuity contracts or contractssupplemental thereto which contain only such provisions relatingto accident and sickness insurance as (a) provide additionalbenefits in case of death or dismemberment or loss of sight byaccident, or as (b) operate to safeguard such contracts againstlapse, or to give a special surrender value or special benefit oran annuity in the event that the insured or annuitant shallbecome totally and permanently disabled, as defined by thecontract or supplemental contract.
