Corporations generally empowered to become subscribers.

379.740. Any corporation now or hereafter organized underthe laws of this state shall, in addition to the rights, powersand franchises specified in its articles of incorporation, havefull power and authority to exchange insurance contracts of thekind and character herein mentioned. The right to exchange thecontracts is hereby declared to be incidental to the purposes forwhich the corporations are organized and as much granted as therights and powers expressly conferred.
