Record of investigations of company operations bydirector--violations, duties of prosecutor or attorney general.

380.401. 1. The director shall, as he may deem proper, makecareful inquiry and investigation as to the manner in which themoney, funds or securities of companies operating under theprovisions of sections 380.201 to 380.591 are invested oremployed, and record the result of such inquiry or investigationin records kept in his office for the inspection of policyholdersand public officials.

2. In the event of a violation of the provisions of section380.391, the prosecuting attorney of the proper county, or theattorney general of this state shall proceed at once byinformation or indictment against the offenders.
