Revocation of insurer's license, when.

382.290. Whenever it appears to the director that any personhas committed a violation of sections 382.010 to 382.300 whichmakes the continued operation of an insurer contrary to theinterests of policyholders or the public, the director may, aftergiving notice and an opportunity to be heard, determine tosuspend, revoke or refuse to renew such insurer's license orauthority to do business in this state for such period as hefinds is required for the protection of policyholders or thepublic. Any such determination shall be accompanied by specificfindings of fact and conclusions of law.
