Premium tax to be levied only on in-state risks.
384.061. The five percent tax on net premiums imposed bysections 384.051 and 384.059 shall be levied only upon risks orportions of risks which are located within this state. If asurplus lines policy covers risks only partially located in thisstate, the tax payable shall be computed on the portions of thepremium properly allocable to that portion of the risks locatedin this state and no Missouri tax shall be charged for thatportion of risk which is located outside of the state ofMissouri.
