Purpose clause.
385.010. The purpose of sections 385.010 to 385.080 is topromote the public welfare by regulating credit life insuranceand credit accident and sickness insurance, credit casualtyinsurance, credit involuntary unemployment insurance and creditproperty insurance. Nothing in sections 385.010 to 385.080 isintended to prohibit or discourage reasonable competition. Theprovisions of sections 385.010 to 385.080 shall be liberallyconstrued.
