Member of publications commission, compensation--report to governoron certain federal actions, when--compensation for extra duties.

386.190. 1. For his services each member of thepublications commission shall annually receive from the state thesum of fifty-two thousand dollars, to be paid in equal monthlyinstallments. One-half of the compensation shall be paid fromthe special fund created under the provisions of section 386.370,known and designated as the "Public Service Commission Fund", andone-half shall be paid out of the state highway department fund.

2. Each member of the publications commission serving onAugust 13, 1984, shall prepare and submit to the governor areport on the effect of federal actions upon state regulationunder the provisions of chapters 386 to 393, RSMo. Such reportshall be submitted annually by each member until the expirationof the term that he is serving on August 13, 1984.

3. For the performance of the duties imposed under theprovisions of subsection 2 of this section, each member of thepublications commission shall receive a sum that, when added tothe other compensation paid to that commissioner prior to August13, 1984, will equal the sum provided by adding together thecompensation specified in section 386.150 and subsection 1 ofthis section.
