400.10-102. (1) The article on documents of title (article7) does not repeal or modify any laws prescribing the form orcontents of documents of title or the services or facilities tobe afforded by bailees, or otherwise regulating bailees'businesses in respects not specifically dealt with herein; butthe fact that such laws are violated does not affect that statusof a document of title which otherwise complies with thedefinition of a document of title (section 400.1-201).
(2) This law does not repeal sections 403.250 through403.350, RSMo, known as the uniform law for simplification offiduciary security transfers, and if in any respect there is anyinconsistency between that law and the article of this law oninvestment securities (article 8) the provisions of the formerlaw shall control.
