408.680. 1. A financial institution, or officer, employee,or agent thereof shall not provide to any government authorityaccess to the financial record of any customer except inaccordance with the provisions of sections 408.675 to 408.700.
2. A financial institution shall not release the financialrecords of a customer until the government authority seekingsuch records gives notice in writing to the financialinstitution that it has complied with the applicable provisionsof sections 408.675 to 408.700.
