Antitrust revolving fund--how used--source of funds.

416.081. 1. There is created a revolving fund for theoffice of the attorney general to be known as the "AntitrustRevolving Fund", which shall consist of money transferred by thegeneral assembly of the state of Missouri from the generalrevenue fund to be credited to such fund, and any money paid intothe state treasury and required by law to be credited to suchfund. This fund shall be kept separate and apart from all othermoneys in the state treasury and shall be paid out by the statetreasurer upon warrants issued by the state auditor as certifiedto by the commissioner of administration, upon verified vouchersof the attorney general.

2. Such money, after appropriation pursuant to law, shall beavailable for the payment of all costs and expenses incurred bythe attorney general in investigation, prosecution or enforcementof the provisions of sections 416.011 to 416.161 or federal lawsrelating to antitrust, trade regulation, restraint of trade orprice fixing activities.

3. Ten percent of all recoveries obtained by the attorneygeneral pursuant to the authority conferred upon him by sections416.011 to 416.161, whether by settlement or by judgment, shallbe paid into the state treasury to the credit of the antitrustrevolving fund. All moneys recovered as court costs by theattorney general pursuant to litigation brought under theauthority of sections 416.011 to 416.161 or federal laws relatingto antitrust, trade regulation, restraint of trade or pricefixing activities, shall be paid into the state treasury to thecredit of the antitrust revolving fund.
