Bond of complainant, liability.

416.475. 1. Upon the filing of the complaint with thedirector, the director shall require of the complainant, a bondin the sum of one thousand dollars to defray the expenses of thenecessary investigation incident to the complaint.

2. In the event the investigation discloses a violation ofsections 416.410 to 416.560, and a court action is necessary tosecure relief, the surety is released from his liability underthe bond, and in an injunction suit brought by the attorneygeneral or the prosecuting attorney as provided in section416.450, the cost of the investigation is a part of the costagainst the defendant in the suit, if he is found to haveviolated the provisions of sections 416.410 to 416.560.

3. In the event the complaint is found not to involveactionable violation, the complainant is required to defray thenecessary expenses of the investigation, but not to exceed thesum of one thousand dollars.
