Use of emblems regulated.

417.160. No person shall wear or exhibit the recognized orestablished badge, button, emblem, decoration, insignia or charm,or any emblem, insignia or charm representing a component part ofthe recognized or established badge, button, emblem, decoration,insignia or charm, or shall assume or use the name of anymilitary, ex-military, patriotic, benevolent, humane, fraternalor charitable corporation incorporated or organized under the lawof this or any other state or of the United States, or shallassume or claim to be a member thereof, or of a military,ex-military, patriotic, benevolent, humane, fraternal orcharitable corporation the name of which shall so nearly resemblethe name of any other corporation or organization existing priorto the organization of the corporation, association ororganization of which such person may claim to be a member, thename whereof may be calculated to deceive people with respect toany such prior corporation or organization, unless he shall beauthorized under the laws, statutes, rules, regulations andbylaws of such former corporation or organization to wear suchrecognized or established badge, button, emblem, decoration,insignia or charm, or such component part or parts of suchrecognized and established badge, button, emblem, decoration,insignia or charm, to use and assume such name as a memberthereof.
