430.100. 1. Such sale shall be held only after giving notless than twenty days' notice, first, by mailing a copy ofnotice, by registered mail, if the address is known, addressed tothe owner for whom such expenditure of labor, material, skill orservices are performed, in which case a return receipt shall beevidence of due notice; second by not less than two publicationsin some newspaper of general circulation where the property wasreceived and is to be sold, the last publication to be not lessthan twenty days prior to the date of sale; third, if nonewspaper be published within the county, then by posting, notless than twenty days prior to the date of sale, five handbillsin different places within the township, one of which shall beposted where the property was received and is to be sold.

2. The form of notice shall be substantially as follows:

NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that on (insert date), a sale will beheld at (insert place), to sell the following articles to enforcea lien existing under the laws of the State of Missouri againstsuch articles for labor, services, skill or material expendedupon such articles at the request of the following designatedpersons, unless such articles are redeemed prior to the date ofsaid sale:

3. A separate notice need not be published for each lien tobe enforced, but several may be combined in one publication.
