Refusal to permit survey--penalty.

444.090. If said party or parties owning, controlling orworking said shaft or shafts on said lot or lots or tract of landshall refuse, hinder or prevent said county surveyor or hisdeputy and his assistant from entering said shaft or shafts ordrifts, to make the survey so ordered by the associate circuitjudge, and every person so offending shall, on conviction, beadjudged guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished by imprisonment inthe county jail for a term of not exceeding one year, or by finenot exceeding three hundred dollars, or by both said fine andimprisonment.
