Attorney general to represent commission, when--hearings on bondforfeiture, notice.

444.782. The attorney general, upon request of the commission, shallinstitute proceedings to have the bond of the operator forfeited forviolation by the operator of any of the provisions of sections 444.760 to444.790. Before making such request of the attorney general, thecommission shall notify the operator in writing of the alleged violation ornoncompliance and shall afford the operator the right to appear before thecommission at a hearing to be held not less than thirty days after thereceipt of such notice by the operator. At the hearing the operator maypresent for the consideration of the commission, statements, documents andother information with respect to the alleged violation. After theconclusion of the hearing, the commission shall either withdraw the noticeof violation or shall request the attorney general to institute proceedingsto have the bond of the operator forfeited as to the land involved.
