Proceeding, where commenced, procedure.
447.624. The proceedings shall be commenced by filing averified petition in the circuit court in the county in which theproperty is located. The petition shall allege that the propertymeets the conditions to be declared abandoned pursuant to theprovisions of section 447.622. All parties in interest of theproperty shall be named as defendants in the petition and summonsshall be issued and service had as in other civil cases.
