Relocation of boundaries between adjoining units.

448.2-112. 1. Subject to the provisions of the declarationand other provisions of law, the boundaries between adjoiningunits may be relocated by an amendment to the declaration uponapplication to the association by the owners of those units. Ifthe owners of the adjoining units have specified a reallocationbetween their units of their allocated interests, the applicationshall state the proposed reallocations. Unless the executiveboard determines, within thirty days, that the reallocations areunreasonable, the association shall prepare an amendment thatidentifies the units involved, states the reallocations, isexecuted by those unit owners, contains words of conveyancebetween them, and, upon recordation, is indexed in the name ofthe grantor and the grantee.

2. The association shall cause to be prepared and shallrecord any plats necessary to show the altered boundaries betweenadjoining units, and their dimensions and identifying numbers.
