Proceedings independent of others.
455.534. All proceedings under sections 455.500 to 455.538are independent of any proceedings for dissolution of marriage,legal separation, separate maintenance and other actions betweenthe parties and are in addition to any other available civil orcriminal remedies, unless otherwise specifically provided insections 455.500 to 455.538.
