476.550. Any person retiring from office under theprovisions of section 27 of article V of the Constitution ofMissouri shall not be eligible for retirement compensation undersections 476.515 to 476.570 during the period of his compensationunder such constitutional provisions, but upon the completion ofsuch period he shall become eligible for retirement compensationunder sections 476.515 to 476.570 if he be otherwise qualified asto age and length of service.
